Hi I just got my b-7200 It seems real cold bloded. It takes 6-8 trys using the glow plug for 60-70 sec each try to get it started The glow plugs and battery are new.
The temp here is in the high 40 but it takes the same process when it is in the 60 70s. After it starts it runs great. I checked the glow plugs and they are 10.5 volt. They have equal restiance . The power supply to them is reading 10 volts. The restance indacater is turning red so everything is working. Is this normal?
PS Where can I get the right side hood/engine cover sheetmetal.
Thanks ron

Ron,
I have a B 2710. I believe it would require glow plugs in 90 degree temp if the engine is cold (well air temp). I hold my glow plugs for an honest count of about 5 seconds and it works for me at any temp. Low 40's would be cold here, ere is cold here. If you have your throttle at total idle if may help to raise it just a little for cranking.
Don't know about the voltage you are getting to your glow plugs.

You might want to try calling Ronnie Bowman at Tractor Smart aka Keller Bros. Kubota. I think Ronnie still works there. He was VERY helpful when I had my L245. Try the link below. Starting would be much easier most likely if you installed and engine block heater. ....
